Gather Round: Sounds of Community—A Harmonious Steps Concert with JCC Harlem’s Maker Space

Join us for the first concert in the Harmonious Steps series. Gather Round is a community-centered program celebrating the sounds that bring people together. We will explore the many rhythms of a neighborhood that emerge when we practice listening, sharing, and belonging.

This project is made possible in part with funds from Creative Engagement and UMEZ Arts Engagement a regrant program(s) supported by the funding agencies The New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation (UMEZ), and administered by LMCC.

While the concert is free, an RSVP is requested.

Extend the Experience with Maker Space!

Join JCC Harlem at 9:30 AM for a themed Maker Space experience inspired by the day’s musical program. Families are invited to explore hands-on, open-ended art and creativity activities that connect with the music you’ll hear during the performance. It’s the perfect way to play, create, and immerse yourself in the theme before the concert begins.

Please note: Maker Space registration is separate from concert registration and is managed by JCC Harlem here.
