Nutcracker Notes—A Harmonious Steps Concert with JCC Harlem’s Maker Space
The Harmonious Steps series continues with a fourth concert, a magical performance that blends classical and jazz favorites, including beloved tunes from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. Sing along to familiar melodies, move to the rhythm, and marvel as a graceful ballerina brings the music to life, adding an extra layer of wonder.
This project is made possible in part with funds from Creative Engagement and UMEZ Arts Engagement a regrant program(s) supported by the funding agencies The New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation (UMEZ), and administered by LMCC.
While the concert is free, an RSVP is requested.
Extend the Experience with Maker Space!
Join JCC Harlem at 9:30 AM for a themed Maker Space experience inspired by the day’s musical program. Families are invited to explore hands-on, open-ended art and creativity activities that connect with the music you’ll hear during the performance. It’s the perfect way to play, create, and immerse yourself in the theme before the concert begins.
Please note: Maker Space registration is separate from concert registration and is managed by JCC Harlem here.
