Swing into Spring with trombonist and singer Ric Becker and all his friends. From Mozart to Mingus, their ensemble of will present a seasonal program of jazz music for all ages. Sing along with the band, clap your hands, or join us in a freeze dance while we play an interactive concert for the whole family. At the end of our concert meet our musicians at the “instrument petting-zoo”.

Don't forget to BYOB - bring your own park blanket! We also recommend some happy hour snacks to pair with the jazz.

Have your children movin’ and groovin’ at Jazz Outdoors, an interactive performance at JCC Harlem inspired by PJ Library’s What a Wonderful World, with jazz musician and educator Evan Harris and his talented jazz ensemble. Children of all ages are welcome to roll, crawl, squeal, and dance to their hearts' content while parents relax, socialize, and enjoy the music. The program will include a PJ Library storytime and instrument 'petting zoo,' too.

Session 1 will take place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Session 2 will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. The cost per child is $5 and adults get in for free.
